I’ve been an artist/photographer for over 35 years. I received my BFA in Photography from the San Francisco Art Institute and have worked as a stock photographer, filmmaker, videographer, photo travel guide, documentary photographer, and a conceptual fine artist.
Often, especially with my landscape work, I embrace what I refer to as the ‘intimate landscape’. I’m interested in the worldly as well as the ‘spirit’ landscape. Much of my newer work is done with an iPhone, where I create whimsical images and travel photos that capture the spirit of place.
My work has been exhibited nationally and internationally and is in collections in Beijing, New York, the Asia Society Museum, and MIT’s Islamic Architecture Library.
Some of Maureen’s work is currently on display at Bin 46 Food & Wine Bar at 600 Longs Peak Avenue, Longmont, CO.
